“Musical Theatre 101” is a course designed to introduce students to the art of singing, dancing, and acting. Students will not only learn about musical theatre but will apply what they’ve learned to prepare a group performance for their family and friends to watch during the final class. Students of all backgrounds and experience levels can benefit from this class. No experience is required!

Musical theatre history
Fun theatre games and exercises
Character analysis
Stage directions
Vocal warm-up and singing techniques
Dancing warm-up and techniques for musical theatre
Acting through song and dance
